Hairspray gets expensive over time (and feel awesome for creating so much waste through aerosol cans)

Gel sags, because the people that usually blend it, are marketing it to the stupid preppy zombies that only care about fauxhawks and largely marked up sweatshop clothing with american birds on it.

Knox is really hard and defies gravity, but the cost of jello has increased (in my area at least)
and it smells bad, and is very far from vegan

The good gels made by people that specifically cater for your needs, are terrible for your wallet

BUT THROUGH TRIAL AND ERROR I HAVE FOUND A HOLY GRAIL IN A PILE OF DEGRADABLE PLASTIC CUPS

Elmer's Washable Clear School Glue

It's $1-2 for a small 147ml bottle
HOLDS LIKE KNOX
CAN BE USED MANY TIMES (more than a dozen)
IT'S VEGAN (suprisingly)
IT DOESN'T SMELL BAD

You pump a quarters worth on your hand
Slap it on your hawk*
Blowdry
Enjoy a day filled with stares, pointing, poking, people coming from behind to touch it then running away, and positive comments

*as a note my hawk is 5 inches tall right now

isn't beeswax a bit more expensive?

and a bit more hard to get out of hair?

the glue washes with very little effort, but is water resistant enough to survive me on a 5km run
my god, the smell of a month's worth of mohawk xD

i doubt it will be an easy hair wash regardless

i think is for more the crust punks living in the streets of toronto

but nevertheless
cool suggestion
used touse elmers, but the damn shyt doesnt dry completely clear, sometimes you look dandruffy. plus it made mi hawk luk lyk ripped upfeathers instead of a nice even fan...
maybe its just meh...
it dries clear yes, and i just happen to prefer a bird look for my hawk

if i took more than 5 minutes to do up my hawk, it would probably be a PERFECT fan

mohawks are a bit wear and tear sometimes
they will deteriorate without attention
and obviously won't survive more than a day without a bit more spray or glue

and the dandruffy look comes because of people touching it, or you playing with it, or you changed your clothes
it doesn't usually un-glue itself for me
crust punks.
in Toronto.
HA.

i very rarely see any :(

anyways, i cant imagine the damage it would do to your hair+hoe will it last in the cold and heat of canada? does the fan come out nice or shitty and stuck together :\? how many wears per up do you get? how long does it take to fully dry?(not trying to sound like a douche, im actually curious)

im not gonna rule it out, but im also not gonna jump into it just yet. iv got a lot of questions as you can tell lol.
damage?
i assume it does equal amount of damage something like got2b would do to your hair

the fan can come out nice: wash and blowdry, and proceed to slap it on and blowdry some more

how many wears? i think you can keep your mohawk up forever if you repair it after every morning when you get up. If you mean uses per bottle... its like more than 50 at least

how long does it take to dry? i did my hair in 5 minutes consistently for a week (with glue + gel) 3:1 ratio because i know got2b sport thing dries REALLY fast

i will test it and see with just pure glue (i think it maybe a bit slower.. dunno)

but what im trying to get at here is:
it's cheap
little bottle takes you a long way
it holds nice
it's vegan (i was surprised too!)
it's easy to acquire pretty much where they sell glue
it's funny to tell people you use elmers for your hair

and for the Reverend... my aloe gel smells TERRIBLE oh my.. i had to spray cologne into my hair it was that bad
got2b has done nothing to my ahir as far as damage wise yet.

but it sounds alright, i might give it a try. thanks for pointing it out (Y)
seriously, all you need is hairspray
but glue is like $1.50 per bottle
100 styles or more

and spray cans can sometimes be harmful to the environment, and the propellant for the people using them
you seriously care that much about the environment?
I agree. and hairspray doesn't cost that much. g2b is five bucks, and you can get suave 10 for $2. they both work just the same. the suave just doesn't dry as fast. and gel works too if you know how to use it. It simply takes more patience.
I think we established this in the late 70's...........
