Band Names...
Can you guys think of cool band names for people who are looking to make a band and have no names! be a HERO!
most bands are looked at by their name and it determines if your going to make a click to see what their all about. and if you do see a band name you like, say your gunna use it or give them feedback on it.
[plus if they become famous you could be like "dude steve, i gave *your band name here* their name"]

Oh shit.. I think about this crap all the time. I had some good ones made up, but I can't remember..
There was a dope ass chick punk band here a while ago named Pussysnot though.. Hahaha. It made me laugh..
Keep it simple, like 2 words or less, because I always forget longer names.. and I'm sure other people do too.

Yeah.. I do agree with Sonic though.. It should mean something to you. Like my boyfriends band is Sekonds Away.. because you never know what could be seconds away from happening to you, and you have to live life to the fullest, which is their motto.

I hate to be the negative person in this thread...but I am very much for artists/performers and bands coming up with their own name to reflect their own ideas/desires/thoughts. It is not something that needs to be rushed really like so many do.
And while a band name can be useful, it is also just as trivial and demeaning and down playing unless the band decides to not let it be. Godspeed You Black Emperor for instance, they were very aware of how people view bands. They do not have a "frontman" but were between 9-13 member collective and they all had equal say. They had a very wise approach in believing that what is important is their music. not them, not whos in charge, not the name.
Ultimately, the name is just the name. The music or whatever is the substance and if that substance blows, you may have the best name in the universe but the music would still suck.
my 2 pennies worth there. Keep thinking on it and you will find a name you like that is personal to you and actually has meaning.
