I was thinking of doing it, but I wanna see good examples so if you have pics or links to sites etc.

well thing about backcombing is, your hair needs to be longer. Your hair might get shorter, by about 10-60% (depends on how lucky you are lol). How long is your hair now?
My hair was about 20", before I backcombed it. I have really thick hair, but still, hair went down to 10", when backcombing lol. You might want to test the backcombing and see if it works out for you already. If it doesn't work really, you can comb it out easily.
