Getting Fluffy Mohawk

So I guess some call them death hawks, backcombed mohawk....whatever. I what to get my hawk to look like this:


Anything I need to do other than backcomb and hairspray? Suggestions?

Well, it really depends on where you live. I can do that with backcombing and hairspray, but only if I'm inside. Step outside, and I have a very broken sideways hawk. The traditional mohawk is waay stronger.

I have the same problem when I backcomb mine. Fl has terrible humidity and it just wants to droop. D:br /> But if I super coat it with hairspray when I'm done it'll be ok... usually.
