Hair curls at the top after being combed

Hi guys! I was just looking for a bit of advice about what to do.

I've realised that after coming my hair, it starts to curl at the end. It's not super long, but has great hold without anything in for the most part so usually stays up without difficulty.

I was just wondering if anyone had any tips or tricks on styling a mohawk properly? And also preventing or avoiding hair from curling at the end?
