I like your answer very reality based. How much of your Third Eye do you know about? When you close your eyes you can visualize an Anarchy symbol right? that's sight. Ever had a dream where you ate something and tasted it? Or heard something? Felt something? Or smelled? I have and that's all 5 senses that my "mind" picked up. Thats actually your third eye. Now if you base off whats truth by what you can see, taste, smell, hear, and touch than if your third eye uses all 5 of these doesn't that…

You got the right idea but structured religion does go against complete freedom. And most religions claim to be the right one. Best to always be searching for the truth than be content with one that claims its the truth.

I believe that As Anarchists its our goal to explore the truth unbiased by structures and religions we are free to look at all info that is available. Religion also implies structure. So i would say no don't become religious just care about the truth. Whether its spiritual, magical, or aliens truth is out there go and find it. Unless ur Nihilist than Fuck it lets party.

What religion to me is a club for people to join. Wether their doctrines or princepals are true and rightious is sort of immaterial.

In my personal opinion, religious groups have a bigger agenda than trying to 'make danger to a society of anarchists'. anarchists being sort of a minority group and all.

Just get a bunch of people to say 'hey, I don't agree with rule 'A' and 'B', if you don't change 'A' and 'B', we're not coming over and giving you money anymore' or the government to say 'hey, the law of the land says rule 'C' 'E', 'F', and 'G' are illegal and unconsitutional.. either change your rules, or we will revoke your tax exempt status and other privilages..'

Religion always is and will be a political entity... Something to think about the next time sombody purports a 'seperate church and state' arguement.

How very interesting...the origins of the word: "conscientiousness, piety" and "to bind, tie" - if only the first part, conscientious of being good to others was a bigger part than the binding, controlling aspect on others. Almost seems like a contradiction.

As to Anarchists, well, Religion is about following/believing a set of tenets, so we have another contradiction, unless the tenets are just opinions and not rules. I am religious, but I do not go to a church or associate with other religious folks 99 percent of the time. Half of the religious dogma for westernized religion is psychobable.
Not to be an asshole or anything towards your poem or you, but religion didn't create war, man did. Religion was created to organize people and to put fear into people that wronged the innocent. But Man soon used it to manipulate people and take their money and their lives. Almost every religion believes that killing people is wrong, lying is wrong, respect your neighbor, and love yourself. What's so wrong with that?

I might sound like I'm fighting for religion, but I'm actually an Atheist that was raised Catholic. I just think that it's ok for some people to believe in what ever the fuck they want to believe in. You know? So long as they don't tell me what to believe or criticize me for not believing in anything, my days will run their normal course. Criticizing people for being religious is just as bad as them telling you that you're going to hell.
YES! this guy knows what he's…tag:www.mohawksrock.com,2011-07-18:1501994:Comment:6174772011-07-18T10:18:05.832ZAlextremehttps://www.mohawksrock.com/profile/AlexDanger

YES! this guy knows what he's about, I too am agnostic but based on the divine attributes and their huge flaws I can't see how there can be a god, and if there is one, he's not all that great. I'm also pretty fed up of anti-religion people, they think they're smarter than everyone who has faith when actually half the time they're just too lazy to go searching for answers so it's easier for them just to sit back and laugh.

The processes responsible for love can be observed, tested, and repeated. As a result, love can be proven meaning that one does not have to rely on faith to justify it's existence.

Now, onto your point about witches and atheists. Witchcraft was used merely as an excuse to persecute and kill people that the church didn't agree with or like. The vast majority of people tortured, executed, and burned alive for witchcraft had absolutely nothing to do with the practice; in most cases it was really because they were atheists, were unpopular within their community, pissed off the wrong people, believed in or preached something that went against the religious dogma of the time, or were simply being used as a scapegoat to explain some misfortune like plague or famine.

Religion has been used and continues to be used as a means to control the masses. Countless cultures, people, beliefs, and social and technological advances have been destroyed by the virus of religion. At the very least, religion inhibits a people's ability to observe the world for themselves and reach their own conclusions based upon rational thought and the scientific method. Religion may have had its uses a couple thousand years ago when there was little or no explanation for how the universe works; in modern times, however, it is completely obsolete and should be eradicated.

Simply put: Fuck Religion.
