Styling help!

Hi. I hope I'm in the right spot. /:
Anyway, I use Got2b Blasting Freeze Spray & every time, it turns flaky and white.
How Can I prevent that? Are there any other products I could use that are better? They have to be available at Wal-Mart or CVS, though, due to me living in a semi-small town.
