WHAT DID YOUR PARENTS SAY THE FIRST TIME U GOT A MOHAWK?
Well I think I am ready to get a mohawk, but I am finding it hard to get them on board with my decision. I just like the looks of mohawk! I want to know the first time you asked your parents and what was their reaction??

My mom was just glad I got a hair cut, because at the time I hadn't had my hair cut in over 5 years. XD

I had the opposite reactions than I was expecting.
My dad just looked at me, shrugged his shoulders and walked away.
My mom on the other hand flipped a shit. Lots of harsh words said and lots of overreacting (on her part), and it ended with me jumping out of my moms car while it was moving and walking home. (I live with my dad). Now she's fine, but tries to tell me how she liked me with long hair (my hair hasnt been long in 5 years xD) yada yada, but she got over it.
You never really know, but the worst that your parents can do is make you shave it off. And if you have good parents they'll love you just the same.

Ahahaha. I just decided the first time to do it. So I took an extra mirror in the bathroom, shut the door and locked it and shaved away. Amazingly, I got it straight.
My mom's reaction: WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO!? I couldn't help it, I laughed and walked out the door to enjoy my weekend.

I didn't ask ... first time my mother saw it was at a cousins wedding... she said nothing to start with, but her jaw just dropped. Iguess she didn't like the red hawk... she liked the white better, but I assume she was used to it by then.

I told her I wanted a lip piercing (after already having agreed to get no more piercings). So when I then told her I was getting a hawk (it was more of a statement then a question really...) she was really calm about it. I first told my pop about it over the phone. He called me a liar. By the time I next visited him, he had pretty much guessed that I hadn't been lying.
I had really long hair before I got the mohawk though. Since I donated it to Locks of Love my parents wrote it off to their friends as a 'good cause'. Works for them, works for me.

i was leaving with my gf of the time when i had mine done and came home from christmas dinner with it done...mum was lets say unimpressed but she learned to love it

i also have done but mine came out uneven my mom didnt get mad she was laughing the whole time
my dad lovess the hawk
wen u get it spike it and dance around like a chicken my mom didnt say anithing after that
