Mohawks Rock

Mohawked paratroopers of the U.S. Army's 101st Airborne Division just before donning combat gear and climbing onto planes to parachute behind enemy lines during the Normandy Invasion on D-Day, June 6, 1944. This was the historic day when the Mohawk was re-born as a popular, in-your-face, gutsy haircut -- hundreds of years after Indian warriors had invented it.
