Mohawks Rock

It's day 4 of having my hawk charged with Knox using the method I described in the forums.
On day two, I used hairspray on the base of the spikes to reinforce.
After that, no touch-ups.

From the pics, you can see what happened with using blue food coloring in the Knox mixture. It just made it look like I went swimming a lot. Next time, I will try half the water and double the food coloring.

All in all, not bad for lasting power, especially with the fact that it was a very watered down ratio by the time the food coloring was in it.

Happy hawking.

Wow. Thats pretty good visual evidence. You may have to triple the food coloring, as I can't see much blue, but the knox looks to hold very strong. I'm going to have to give this a try sometime I guess.
