or just wear your hair loose and down. for the most part, it's hardly noticable.

i don't think u can make a ponytail out of down the back hair that sticks out only from one line on the top of your head, a general ponytail s built from the long hair on the sides which would be shaven in my case.

part it down the middle and then pull it back into a loose ponytail.

also, you don't have to shave it completely down. you can leave it longer on the sides, and less noticable.

ELF - missed the end part of your post - most of us girls wear pony tails - high, low, everywhere inbetween. No one really notices unless they've have a mohawk or have had it pointed out to them. Unless you shave your hair to the skin, it'll cover and blend. :-)
