It will always be a great community for sure. The site is showing it's age for sure. The platform it is on is Ning and they just got bought out so hopefully the new company will make Ning better and maybe we can update the site to be more mobile friendly and other things.
I was reading the stuff between you and Kobalos. There are definitely tumbleweeds. I think everyone is on less-niche networks where it blends all together like Facebook and stuff.
I guess here you can be rest assured I'm not mining your personal data... because I barely have time to keep featuring pictures from time to time.
Thanks for checking back every once in awhile and being one of the originals!
Fair enough :) Busking with your brother & friend sounds good - a little extra income is always welcome!
Do you still have that chav friend - and has he stayed or gone away from chavdom style? Here, in the countryside, it seems like chav has disappeared. Though, then again, I haven't seen any punks or other mohawks either for a long time either! ^_^
Yes it has become, one active & a couple returners. I find even the new joiners don't bother replying if you welcome them or ask something about their profile. Same with Happy Birthdays. So, I no longer make the effort, but you did guess right, I do still live and reply. :) There's still signs GMM keeps an eye on the site - with the 'featured' photos. We've nearly reached the 5000th (idle) member! =D
It's a shame, folk don't seem to care to post stuff here much. Now, everyone is falling the trend and just expecting things to happen when they stay as onlookers instead. heh Doesn't work, that, though. :)
My YouTube still goes, still get life there. :)
I'm doing okay, still much the same as usual, a bit lazy about putting up the 'hawk though. How about you? Still rocking the spikes over there in Ireland?
Thanks - it's a nasty stomach bug going round I just found out my pal and a friend of his both have and his kids. Hope it's not across over there in Ireland. It's not done with me yet... :S
What was it about? First chapters are always the worse - I rewrote mine many times, still not happy with it - after another 17 or so chapters later. heh
lol Oh, all the old chestnuts I've heard them all used before. I've used black eye-shadow my sister gave me to darken my eye sockets - as you know from my pics, I like face-paints. My goal was to look scary with it. haha That's what appeals to me, but my family got all worried and tried to talk me out of using it.
No one ever said anything anyway the few times I bothered going out with it on. heh Storm in a tea-cup.
I just recently learnt what the word 'neurosis' meant: someone perceiving an "Invisible Injury" and that's what your pal and so many folk get over anything different. Be that eyeliner or making up like a monster, or even for my liking someone's trainers/boots. They get all worried, like it's causing them an invisible anguish, just cause it's strange or doesn't fit their preconceptions.
They have no reasons for feeling that way, but in time, they get to know better and then don't understand why they ever felt that way in the first place! I've actually had friends tell me that 6 months to a year later, but it takes them ages to get over their neurotic worries. They just need to drop their imagined fears and accept reality, rather than hyping it up or expecting something else. But then again, I get misconstrued by all sides. :) Ah, well, all you can do is be yourself and enjoy looking how you want to.
Thought I'd share some Commodore 64 music with you from my childhood. ;) This was the height of computer music and I still enjoy it. But I bet you've never heard nothing quite like it?

I guess you have a point. Still would like to hear the rap, now you've brought it up.
I'm sure he'll still appreciate well wishes, even if he gets them on FB much later.
No, I never heard about that - I'm guessing just sound? Perhaps an opportunity to get back together for a YouTube vid of it!

hahahaha! That's what I like to hear! Merry Doomsday to you too, good Captain!
Oh, I think you could spare a nanogene or two to build a cake! ;)
Happy Birthday, Captain Jack! What you going to be up to today? I'm predicting a Burberry scarf or cap from your friend. ;)

Just a sci-fi about some independent robotic cyborgs working with humans after the humans rose up against AIs out of fear.
You ever considered writing a book?
haha Yeah, it's not finished and hasn't been worked on for a very long time! One day. =)
heh I have to say, it's good your pal got over it and stopped going on about it.

No time for chat earlier. I was only checking for new activity before going back to playing Skyrim.
