Yeah mine grew out pretty fast. I let it get a lot longer than I normally do, though, just because I didn't want to let go of the leopard print. I have no colours in the sides anymore.
But I'd say it's worth it if you have the time, it only took me and a friend like 10 minutes to get the leopard on there. I would take a longer time next time just to get more detail in it, though.

Hey man - right on. Thanks for the positive comments! Always great to get good feedback from a fellow punk. I'm admiring your hair too... color AND Length. I can appreciate how hard it is to get those spikes up. Even though a hawk is tricky enough to get up, it acts like one single "unit" of hair that reinforces itself. With the liberty spikes, gravity plays a much bigger role. If you don't freeze them into rock-hard spikes just right then they start to sag after a while. So kudos on that! The longer the spike, the harder it is to keep it up.

The girls tell me that "it's not the SIZE of your spike that counts... it's how you use it". lol... maybe they were just trying to be nice.

It usually takes an hour or two to put it up. Yours is quite big though as well, so you know it takes time and plenty of product.
