I haven't chopped it yet, the longest guard for my clippers is a number 8, which is 1 inch, so I was gonna let my sides grow to an inch then shave it off with an 8 guard.

Hmm, most of my roosters got along cause they were related &/or grew up together. Though they had some pecking order, random fights erupted due to which rooster gain the hens for breeding. Only one rooster I named Ash (Yup, I named my birds), was placed in a large pen, he was the only one aggressive to me & any other person. By the way, I was given a Kelsi hen & told they sometimes crow. I’m like, bull! Anyhow, this Kelsi eventually had some chicks & at one time aggressively attacked one of the roosters for getting too close, she freaken crowed!? Not as clear as a rooster’s crow, but a bit more muffled. Pardon my French, but she had more balls that some of my roosters! Anyhow, depending on your surroundings & your Dad’s time, may you gain control of preventing an overpopulation explosion on poultry! I myself lived in the country at one time, had all the space as far as my eyes could see & they bred like rabbits! BTW, placed an old image of my gamecocks in photos.

Thanks. I appreciate you getting back to me. I did want to know, I've heard bleaching like frys your hair and it falls out etc. Does that really happen? Thats what I am afraid of. You would think that would only happen if you bleach A LOT. But I've heard stories. And after I get done dyeing it should I deep condition? Also if you're head is shaved will the dye stain your skin? Like I said it's my first time and I don't want to screw up and kill my hawk and have to end up shaving it off. It' pretty long and it grows pretty slow. How often do you re-bleach/dye?

Hey. How ya doin?? I was wondering if you could educate me a little on hair dyeing, like what volume of bleach do you use, how long do you leave it in and how long does your dye last etc?? My hair is like a dirty blond and I'm considering livening it up a bit with some cool colors and I've always liked the way you do yours. I don't know if you can tell but I've never ever done it before. Hahaha
