yeah i would have put a ring in if i didnt have a tight school. i use warm salt water but the salt has to be sea salt as its low iodine. dont swallow it just wash it around your mouth cuz it tastes like shit. you can use non alcohol mouthwash too but apparently its bad for you to use mouthwash twice a day...

well i got the smallest barbell they sold at my piercing shop. i think it was slightly smaller then an earring but an eyebrow one will work. boil your needle (sewing or an old earring that you get origionally cuz they're sharp) for 30mins. with the needle it didnt actually work as well as i couldnt find the hole after i pierced it to put the bar in so mabe an earrings better. you can dot where you want it or just freehand. when you have the needle through slowly thread it out while threading the bar through. you may have to push the bar through quite hard as its thinker but dw it wont hurt. i had alot of trouble shoving the bar through the other end as there was still a thin piece of skin in the way. if you get this just poke it with a needle to break it (i know this sounds gross). i hope this was helpful. i probably arn't the prime example of self piercing cuz i did a bit of a shit job but im sure you'll do better :)
