Sadly its not leather :( The jackets cost a little bit much, and they're pretty hot for Florida. I wanted a moto-style denim jacket, but couldn't find any in stock except for light blue XD Its actually just a blck denim rocker jacket. Its pretty nice now, but I think I could make it better ;)
Haha! The painting sounds like something I'd do! I actually had a pair of pants I was painting green stripes on to make black/green plaid, but just kinda stoped a quarter way through. My girlfriend actually wanted to finish them for me (on an agreement she counld wear them too, even tho we barrow each other's clothes all the time). So she has them now, and shes actually working on them! I think they'll be done soon, which is awesome!

Yeah, I would totally LOVE to do it! I don't think I'd get to much time on the river cause I'd be a newbie, but I'd get more expirience for next year! :D
I hope I'm gonna start working on it soon XD I'm a lot like you, I ussually never finish anything, but I really have some cool ideas for this one and am gonna try to put a lot of hard work into it and get it done. The first thing I'm gonna do is the zip sleeves. Hopefully I'll be going to a craft store tonight to get supplies and advice. I should be putting up some photos of me posing in it by this weekend, but it will be a while untill the "After" pics get up.

Its SO much fun! I go every year, and hopefully I'll get a job as a raft guide next summer! Its something I've always wanted to do, and now I might be able to! :)

thanks gaby! my kids are always telling me i'm a cool mom (except when they get grounded for ding dong ditching the neighbors at 4am, then i am no so cool)! i have had my share of sad 'mom' haircuts... sometimes you wanna be normal (whatever that is) and sometimes you just wanna do whatcha like. i find more and more i am doing what i like and don't really care what the neighbors, or some random strangers think!! take care and stay cool, texas is hot as blazes as i remember it :)

hey gaby, thanks for the add! your 'about me' is hilarious (in a good way). you are a VERY clever girl, due in part, i am certain, to your voracious appetite for reading! keep it up! my daughter LOVED the lion king and even acted like simba and nala ALOT! she's a year older than you, and no mohawk (but that's ok, i still love her)... anywho, Batman is pretty awesome and i want a batmobile, dammit!!!!!!!!!!
