Mohawks Rock

I'm curious ....What are your favorite songs/bands to listen to when you in a depressed state of mind?  What do you like to do as you listen to 'em? (if you have a large list of songs, share it all)

As for me, i like to be drunk, smoke cigarettes, and stare at the stars. Since a lot of my friends really don't LOVE music from the early half of the 20th century as much as i do, if i want to to feel disconnected and in my own world ill listen to music from that time.

My List as of right now:

Bauhaus
Peter Murphy- Cuts You Up
Siouxsie and the Banshees
Joy Division - (Disorder)
Lords of the New Church- Live for Today
Christian Death- Romeo's Distress
David Bowie- five years
Ramones- What a Wonderful World/ Have You Ever Seen The Rain (covers)
Street Dogs- Free
The Cure
"ice dance" from Edward Scissorhands

and due to friends, i have some guilty pleasure songs that i listen to that others would have never have guessed i liked ::thumbs up::

go on .... share. Maybe youll have a new song to listen to from someone else B]

What I listen to:

Scarlet's Remains
Android Lust
Gorgoroth
Nine Inch Nails
Some Marilyn Manson Albums (Mechanical Animals, High End of Low, etc.)
Jack Off Jill (almost always puts a smile on my face xD)
and a bunch of stuff from the "Silent Hill" soundtracks.

What do I do? Well, I guess most of the time I sit in a dark room and pout/break things. Sometimes I pick up my guitar and start playing along to the songs. Another thing I find to be quite therapeutic is to put on my iPod and go for a long walk outside in the middle of the night. I try to avoid alcohol when I'm depressed as it often just makes me start crying uncontrollably (I'm a miserable Drunk)

P.S. - Romeo's Distress by Christian Death owns, I often listen to that particular song when I'm down.
