I use floss or like quadrupole up on my string.

fishing line works best [for leather] if you ask me. Thread gets caught and snagged and rips, fishing line is smooth and strong (strong enough to catch a big ass fish fighting for his life).

Some guy told me he used fishing line. I never fished in my life so for all I know he was bullshittin...line never looked that flexible to me to sew with but that's what he claimed..

In the past week i have made a caution tape belt with duct tape, 2pairs of pants, some more patches for my jean jacket,a hot pink leopard skirt, and a pair of shorts out of some material i found.

Nice! What's the best sewing method to keep the edges of patches from fraying to the point of the patches just slowly falling apart?
