Are Mohawks the new fad??
I ask because I live in Southern California where fashion is everywhere. I know Mohawks have been around for a 100 years plus. Recently I have noticed more mohawks out there. Not like the nice long hawks they are more like 1" or 2" hawks not like that size is bad ok. I have seen 5 guys all in there teens and early 20s in the past 3 days with them. These guys dont look like they are a part of any group (Lifestyle). Is there something Im missing here? but then.. I have seen little to no T.V or Cable in like a year. funny I dont miss it ...anyways are mohawks the new fad going around? I dont want to be looked at as part of a fad or sould I wait out the "Fad Storm" to pass and keep Rocking my Hawk ,,or am I TRIPPING BALLS here"o_0"

There's always at least two dudes at my school with mohawks (not counting my own dude because he hasn't shaved his sides in so long that he now has this horrible mullethawk thing...bleh), but they're always far from punk, and never keep them for long, and they're always either boring and badly put up or so short they don't matter. And then the swim team guys get them for at least a week every year, presumably because their hair is so messed up from the chlorine they want to shave it all off anyway.
I'm the only one who dyes mine and puts it up regularly, and I'm a chick.

Yeah I live in SoCal too, by Hollwood there's a shit load of fauxhawks and shithawks and mohawks and stupid shit.
Although I did recently buzz my hawk down to an inch so I can grow it out wider, so if you see me, I'm not one of those posers, I had a reason haha =D

Since you live in so cal.. A LOT of bros try to rock short hawks.. I personally don't care what everyone else does with their hair. Popular or not I do what I choose with my hair.

At my little school in Ohio, it seems like mohawks come and go, and some people just do them as a result of a dare or some stupid shit like that. I and one other person seem to be the only ones sporting mohawks full time, and even his is a faux-hawk (of which I HATE with passion) so that makes me the ONLY person in like my whole town sporting a mohawk.

I see tons of faux hawks a day and sometimes i see tiny like 1 inch mohawks with the sides shaved but its usually jocks who have them. I see mohawks all round my town though real big ones theres a semi big scene here but i live in a big city kinda. I hate it when people try and criticize my mohawk and then they have a stupid tiny little faux hawk at least i got more balls then you do asswipe.
