I want my hawk =[
Ok, so I've been thinking about doing up a hawk for a while now, I couldn't do it over the summer because I worked with little kids.. that would have been fun hahaha, and I finally had my condolences from my parents to do it about two weeks ago and then I hit financial trouble, my car died, and I couldn't afford to get it done, and I still can't.
I'd have someone I know do it but I'm petrified to have them do it because if they screw up I'm gunna be pissed. My boyfriend won't do it because he's afraid he'll mess it up, and his mom won't do it because she's afraid my parents will kick her ass.
What should I do? Like.. do I wait until I have the cash to go get it done or do I find some bum on the street and be like yo do me up?
There's no way my parents will do it, they won't even spot me $30 to get it done =[

have your friends or boyfriend do it! its really not hard to do and look at this way, even if they did screw up..its hair.. it grows back! look up methods that you think will work well to cut your hair and have at it, its not rocket science..its just hair

He won't do it, and none of my friends want me to get it done anyways. They're like.. everyone will think you're a lesbian.. Not that I care, shit, I act pretty lesbian-esque.
I talked to my mom about it before, and she was like.. I'll probably take you to get it done. Because she was complaining that I look like a street rat =D

if all else fails you can do it yourself.. grab a few mirrors, work slow and take your time and youll do fine!

I'm tempted to right now. But I have to meet with an admissions counselor tomorrow and I don't really feel like not getting accepted to the only school I want to go to because of that. So.. let them meet me, then I'll do that shit up. =]

Erika there is no problem doing it yourself as long as you go slow , make a few decisions first , 1 how wide do you want it , that will be determined by the shape of your head , 2 how long do you want it , start long first then cut down to a manageable size , 3 how do you want the back shaped , striaght , arrowhead , pointed , tapered , 4 length of side's , shaved , No1 , No2 and so forth , do above your ears first and slowly work up an inch at a time on both sides untill you have your perfect hawk , good luck :)

Ugh ok.. so get this..
I was talking to my parents about it today at dinner, my dad is so against it because he kinda has to keep up appearances, he's a politician, and my mom is kinda ehhhhh about it. She was like.. mad into punk when she was younger and was originally what got me into it like.. when I was a kid, but UGH!
This is really fucking annoying. It's my god damn head. But if I do it they'll take my car away, and I like.. NEED my car to get around. Long Island doesn't have public transportation and I live like 15 minutes out of town.. driving at like 65 the whole way. Damn it.
I want to punch a fucking baby or something.

See.. I won't have money until this summer when I'm, once again, working with children. It's a vicious cycle. I'm not allowed to work during the school year, neither do I want to because I'm a bum. And the little money I gain goes into my gas tank because that's what the fucking gas companies do to you.
And I care!
My hair smells like butter because my brother and I got into a baking powder and butter sandwich fight.. Totally irrelevant but the smell of butter is permeating through my nose.
I've been dying for a mohawk ever since I can remember.. Which really isn't that far back.. but w/e
But I've been wanting one since I was in.. 5th grade, I'm a senior now.. so 7 years. And when I go to college I can have one I guess, but I don't want it to screw up my chances with getting back into SBU for med school. Yes, I have aspirations and dreams to one day conform to society and become a money hungry doctor who prescribes lots and lots and LOTS of drugs to mentally disturbed individuals such as myself and over 3/4's of the population of the world.

if they take your car away then you wont be able to school. if you dont go to school your gonna sit home all day and annoy the fuck out of them till they give it back! *shrugs*
my dad was kinda like yours before i got mine, he was big on looking presentable and having his kids presentable. he told me if i got a hawk he was going to kick me out..i got it and he didnt do anything but not talk to me for 3 days.. he grew to love it and now he shaves my head for me sometimes. overtime he realised it doesnt matter how someone wants to look on the outside, its the inside that matters. who knows.. taking the leap an doing it could change your dads opinion too!

I really should have you do it Rachael hahaha. Except I promised not to dye my hair anymore until I get into college, which w/e it's still kinda black it looks pretty dope so I can live with it.
I'm gunna talk to my mom today. She's the weak one, I can work on her. She doesn't exactly care as long as I keep getting straight A's and crap. And like.. yeah.. I dunno.. I hope I can convince her. Bah =\
By the way Rachael you and Deniz should come to this show in Southampton on Saturday! My boyfriends band is playing.. they're the only punk band there but w/e hahaha. Mad dope.
