how often do u shave the sides of your hawk?!

I think there was a thread about this, but I shaved my sides every week with sandpaper. Razors don't get close enough for my preference, they leave little black dots of hair all over, so if somebody takes a picture of me (which happens allot) it looks like I got scruffy sides, sandpaper looks like straight scalp

i put gas on my sides, light it on fire every few days. 

 

naaah its been about 2 months for my sides. i do it when ever

I love buzzing it so that it's rough :p feels so good to have people scratch/rub my head! I don't like when it gets fluffy though, I would keep it short if I could talk my sister into shaving it more often. Too lazy to go at it myself lol

right now my mohawk is a bit messed up. so im trying to grow out the sides and correct it. 

 

I dont really know how often i shave the sides... i think last time i waited around a month but it drove me pretty crazy.

but wuts wrong with it exactly? 
and the max iv gone without shavin the sides was like...5 days and it was a pain in the ass to shave it afterwards by the way do u people shave the sides by urselvs or get sumone else to do it for you?

as you go towards the back of my head down to the nape of the neck... it gets more narrow. kinda looks like a V instead of staying the same width |  | 

Its still possible to put up, but it will make it more difficult when it gets longer. My friend who usually cuts it was out of the country so i put trust in another friend of mine... it wasn't PERFECT but she probably did a better job than i would have done myself. :P
