  • hotaru_4228

Yea I didn't know whether to do it or not either bc I didn't know if it would look good on me....but I just decided to do it, I just told myself if it looked bad it's just hair it will grow back ^_^
  • Lotte

    hii :)
  • rat bastard

Just a basic Hi! As being a girl with a hawk, I love it. It's the easiest hairstyle I've had and I've shaved most if not all of my hair off before. The mohawk is definitely funner, and it helps because it has a tendency to -start- conversations for you. Other people seem to be really curious about the hawk, why you have it, how does it stay up. I think that's great. So many amazing looking hawks out there!
  • Amy

i completely agree with you, rat bastard, especially on the conversation starter. im normally very very shy and my hawk is helping me overcome that
  • rat bastard

Hey Amy, yeah, I was the same way with the shyness (especially around people I'm not that familiar with, go figure.) But you're right, strange as it sounds, it actually helps a lot with that: being a convo starter and relaxing you into more conversation (even ones you start yourself.) Kinda cool when you think about it!
  • VenomousRose

Hey ladies. I absolutely have to agree with some of the previous comments about the 'hawk being a conversation starter. Definitely makes social interaction easier when you are shy/distant around strangers like I tend to be.
  • Khaos

We should maybe consider a meeting of the girl hawks and take said meeting location by storm!
  • Khaos

***maybe in the slight future, when money is a bit more free flowing for all?
  • VenomousRose

That sounds awesome! I could see that... A gaggle of 'hawked out girls taking a city by the balls!
  • Tala Boudica

LOL, everyone I've met has seemed to love my 'hawk. Then again, having met most people while walking my adorable GSD somehow seems to make me more approachable. ;P
  • Amy

Oh man, a meeting definately needs to happen.
  • gaby

    hello :)
  • Khaos

People wouldn't know what the fuck to do with themselves. It'd be amazing.

And of course, since we're all beautiful, they'll be too overwhelmed and enamoured to fuck with us ;-)
  • Tala Boudica

LOL, Khaos. It would be something showing up all over youtube I bet. =P
  • Amy

Even if they did want to try to start something, we could take them.

And we would be all over youtube and probably the local news at least. *Today at 5, girls with mohawks took over the city. Why were they here? Tune in tonight for the full story*
  • Khaos

    Hello !!!

Oh god, I hope so!! The city that ignores dozens of mohawk'd women would be stupid. Such good publicity. haha. We could put a documentary on YouTube and watch all the media outlets haha
  • Cadet Cactus

    The question is...which city?
  • Tala Boudica

Well, if this is all a purely hypothetical, won't happen for at least two years type of situation... Imagine a tour!
  • VenomousRose

It would have to be a big city... Though I can't deny the humor in having a small Podunk town being the epicenter of all of this.

It couldn't be too big though, most of the really big cities are used to stuff like that.
  • Khaos

    Hahaha...
and a city that doesn't host too many punk shows, either, cause that would just be second nature to them.

Plus, the middle of nowhere is hard to get to sometimes, especially if you aren't from the area.
  • VenomousRose

Yeah, I know what you mean. I'm saying it should most likely be in a city that thinks it's liberal but is in fact really conservative. Really blow the lid off of it!
  • Khaos

    Definitely.

Dare I say SanFran is out of the question? haha
  • VenomousRose

Hahaha, SanFran wouldn't even blink, but I would still love to go! I hear it's an amazing city!
  • Joey

Here's an idea: do it in several countries on the same day. For the UK I'm gonna nominate Coventry: the epicentre of fuckheads!
  • Amy

now that would be funny! have a few cities across the world be the centers of this, and everyone just go to the one thats closest to you.

although i do love a good road trip, so if this were to happen, i would want to contact a few mohawked girls in my area and road trip to whichever city we choose
  • gaby

road trips are fun, I'd like to do the same. i dunno any mohawked chicks here though.
  • VenomousRose

Hells yeah! roadtrips are the best. I have met more mohawked girls recently, so I would get them with me and roadtrip. I'd want to go somewhere besides my city. Perhaps the bible belt... On a Sunday... Right as church is letting out. Hahaha, this could be great.
  • Amy

i dont know of any other mohawked girls around here... but then again, this is the bible belt... >./body>
  • VenomousRose

I didn't know there were as many as there were around here... Not that there are too many. But since I posted pics of my hawk, they have found me.
  • Khaos

Haha, yea. If you have it, they will come. :-P

Uhm dirty jokes aside, you should try to have a free mohawk day, give a bunch of girls mohawks, then tell them you guys are going on a road trip!
  • MikaylaTHEend

I learned the hard way that mohawks and public schools don't mix. :D I wore my 8 inch hawk to a Varsity soccer banquet, which might I add I worked myself practically to death to get on varsity, only to be told by the coach at practice the next day that it was "inappropriate" and drew "Uneeded attention to the individual". Now that I've been nominated for a class favorite the school board put on the dress code that "Any deviation" would not be allowed on stage at the presentation ceremony. This is crap.
  • courtney

lol, LittlePsycho, i'm half dutch :D
  • 51m0n3

Just got mine done and I LOVE it.
  • AMANDABLACK

my boyfriend is not to sure about my new hair style! haha
  • Brian A. Moum BAM

girls with mohawks is the hottest thing ever, thank you gals for showing that mohawks are not dead
  • JessicaJoystick

Opinion on trihawks? Do they look good on girls and if you could look at my pictures, do you think I could pull it off? I really want to do it but im unsure.
  • ChemxCab

Trihawks are amazing if shaved and styled correctly <3
The only downfall is keeping it maintained.
  • Tinaa Birt

ROCK THE FUCKING HAWKS LADIES !
  • bbqpanties

hehe Well when you love someone you love everything about them, yes?
  • Blasphema

my x hates punks and mohawks, but it thinks im adorable as well. confuses me as well.
I love tri hawks too but there just too much for me, im lazy,lol..
  • Indigo-Fox

i get "girl you got balls" all the time at work...lol
  • Khaos

Andrew, it's cause (I dare say) girls are more creative. Haha. We're just good like that ;-P and half the guys with hawks are tools.
  • Ezekielpoop

okay. this is what you do jen.
get a comb, hair spray (suave 10 works great), and a blow dryer
    1. comb your hair out. 2. comb up maybe two-three inches of the front, and hold it at the tips. 3. spray the hair spray all over that chunk of hair you're holding up 4. blow dry for a minute or two on each side 5. continue with the rest of it. 6. check it over. 7. add more hairspray.
  • Russ Drummond

i've only ever met one girl with a mohawk and she was gay, extreme lack of female mohawks in my town!
  • Ezekielpoop

no problem jennifer, did it work out for you?
  • Ruthie J

Got to Be Glued hairspray ( drugstore $6.00 ) and a hair dryer is what I use. Works great with less flakes.
