About Me:: Started MohawksRock.com in November 2007, after finding it hard to find a good amount of information on how to actually make a mohawk. In the sites first year we have had over 1 Million hits from 150+ countries and 1000 members. Since then we have had 10,000,000+ pages viewed in 200+ countries with our top cities being London, NYC, Dublin, L.A. and Sydney.

I apologize if it takes me awhile to get back to you on comments or emails. I really do try to get back to everyone. After the first 1000 members I haven't been able to add everyone as a friend, but if you have joined, you are definitely a friend so feel free to add me too.

If you have a mohawk you know what its like to be looked at funny and even ostracized or admired. Keep this in mind on here and have respect for the different viewpoints of members here. We all have something more in common than awesome hair and that is an extreme sense of self and individualism. That sometimes causes arguments and harsh feelings, but remember they are as you are.

Finally, promote the site! Put links back to the site wherever you find necessary. The more active members we have the better information we will have and the more collective influence we will have. Tell your mom, dad, friends and co-workers. Lets unite a community of seemingly sparse individuals across the world.
How Tall Are You With and Without the Mohawk:: I'm 6'11 without the mohawk, and I'm typically over 8' tall with it standing, as I don't cut it below 13 inches just for this reason. Currently the hawk is around 20 inches putting me at 8'7 taller than Leonid Stadnyk (8'5), the worlds tallest man.

How did you find MohawksRock.com: Well, I was amazed the domain name was still available in November 2007, so I bought it and started up this social network for all those that love mohawks.

hmmmm.... Im not sure... I've been looking for this kinda site on google for hair colors on hawks for days... thats how I came across to this site. I think doing the myspace is a great idea... I have myspace and facebook (now) but I never thought of searching on there... Now that you mention it.... :oP I tried youtube... I did not see anything about this site on youtube. :o(

Hey, been tryin to upload some extra pics but the uploader isnt workin for me. Ive been trying to use the simple one, because the java one doesnt show up for me. When I browse and enter the photo I want to upload, I hit the upload button and it just deletes the location of the photo and tells me there is an error because I have no photo selected. If u know how to fix it let me know =]

hey thanks for the welcome! yeah dude, I suggest you try it out. I'm not saying go totally vegan. I don't even do that. You can still eat eggs and dairy if you'd like. I found that easiest to begin with. Rice and beans make a great meat alternative. Stir fry some firm tofu in your normal favorite asian dish and it tastes as good as chicken! ;)

It's true.. the mormon population here consists of just about 85 percent so i have to deal with a lot of bull.. and yes it was a great adventure growing out my hawk.. i miss the 18 inches... burned a lot of it off in a fire so i had to shave it.. now i am on the path or riteousness again lol...

yeah that would make for an amazing bumper sticker.. lol.. so where you livin at now? if you don't live in the damn mormon vill of the freaking world.. lol.. i would much rather live somewhere other than here.. and it's true i lived in spanish fork when i had my 18 in hawk and they didn't like it much.. i worked at freaking taco bell and my boss had no reason to fire me other than the fact that i had the hawk so he just slowly stopped scheduling me for work.. i went from over 40 hours a week to.. 2 lol so i was just like.. whatever dude.. find some other loser to make your damn tacos and i was out.. lol..
