About Me:: Started MohawksRock.com in November 2007, after finding it hard to find a good amount of information on how to actually make a mohawk. In the sites first year we have had over 1 Million hits from 150+ countries and 1000 members. Since then we have had 10,000,000+ pages viewed in 200+ countries with our top cities being London, NYC, Dublin, L.A. and Sydney.

I apologize if it takes me awhile to get back to you on comments or emails. I really do try to get back to everyone. After the first 1000 members I haven't been able to add everyone as a friend, but if you have joined, you are definitely a friend so feel free to add me too.

If you have a mohawk you know what its like to be looked at funny and even ostracized or admired. Keep this in mind on here and have respect for the different viewpoints of members here. We all have something more in common than awesome hair and that is an extreme sense of self and individualism. That sometimes causes arguments and harsh feelings, but remember they are as you are.

Finally, promote the site! Put links back to the site wherever you find necessary. The more active members we have the better information we will have and the more collective influence we will have. Tell your mom, dad, friends and co-workers. Lets unite a community of seemingly sparse individuals across the world.
How Tall Are You With and Without the Mohawk:: I'm 6'11 without the mohawk, and I'm typically over 8' tall with it standing, as I don't cut it below 13 inches just for this reason. Currently the hawk is around 20 inches putting me at 8'7 taller than Leonid Stadnyk (8'5), the worlds tallest man.

How did you find MohawksRock.com: Well, I was amazed the domain name was still available in November 2007, so I bought it and started up this social network for all those that love mohawks.

Hello! My job has taken me to Japan and things are going well so far. I have usually gon to Places in Europe and this is my first time in Japan or Asia. Hawaii was fun the mohawk was a big hit there!

right on bro... thanks for the invite and making the site. my friends in Cali gave me my first hawk as somewhat of an "initiation" into the punk scene. these days, ive fallen out of all that but still dig the style.... alot of ppl here in the islands sport hawks, but hardly any of decent length so everyone trips when i go out charged.

As for the look, yeah I love going to teach a class and seeing the look on the undergrad student's face! Fucking priceless. Once I went to a nanoscience conference in New York and lost my name tag and almost had security throw me out until one of my professors saved me. Needless to say I made quite a scene, because I don't take kindly to being shoved.

Parents parents parents...what can I say. Yeah it is sad, but can't be dragged down by it. I just wish they could look past what they perceive as "flaws" and see what I've accomplished. But if they don't want to acknowledge me then I won't acknowledge them.

Yeah that would be fucking awesome, I could just see the faces on my inquisitors. Unfortunately the room only holds like 40 people and people had to sign up, it is full that I know of. Still the thought of mohawk comrads in that room would make bust out laughing. Anyway, I will put up pictures.

Need your opinion though, I actually have a choice on whether to do it this weekend (Nov 1), Nov 8, Nov 15? What do you think?
