About Me:: Started MohawksRock.com in November 2007, after finding it hard to find a good amount of information on how to actually make a mohawk. In the sites first year we have had over 1 Million hits from 150+ countries and 1000 members. Since then we have had 10,000,000+ pages viewed in 200+ countries with our top cities being London, NYC, Dublin, L.A. and Sydney.

I apologize if it takes me awhile to get back to you on comments or emails. I really do try to get back to everyone. After the first 1000 members I haven't been able to add everyone as a friend, but if you have joined, you are definitely a friend so feel free to add me too.

If you have a mohawk you know what its like to be looked at funny and even ostracized or admired. Keep this in mind on here and have respect for the different viewpoints of members here. We all have something more in common than awesome hair and that is an extreme sense of self and individualism. That sometimes causes arguments and harsh feelings, but remember they are as you are.

Finally, promote the site! Put links back to the site wherever you find necessary. The more active members we have the better information we will have and the more collective influence we will have. Tell your mom, dad, friends and co-workers. Lets unite a community of seemingly sparse individuals across the world.
How Tall Are You With and Without the Mohawk:: I'm 6'11 without the mohawk, and I'm typically over 8' tall with it standing, as I don't cut it below 13 inches just for this reason. Currently the hawk is around 20 inches putting me at 8'7 taller than Leonid Stadnyk (8'5), the worlds tallest man.

How did you find MohawksRock.com: Well, I was amazed the domain name was still available in November 2007, so I bought it and started up this social network for all those that love mohawks.

GMM, sounds like your birthday party is going to be the closest thing to a to a national meeting or convention that has been discussed from time to time. So, I hope you will get good response, I know there at least a few MR members in the Atlanta area.

I guess you know the 14th is Valentines Day, if you need a theme.

Sounds good. I guess all you can do is plug your birthday bash on MR and personally tell friends. Don't know how you could reach others rockin' a hawk that may not know about MR. Any other related websites that would take a plug???

Also, New York in the summer is fine for the reasons you stated. If you can get some bands that should greatly increase its appeal. And if you have just 30 to 50 people the first time out, would be OK IMO. GH

Yep. I can't remember when. But I think it was almost 20 some odd years ago. The only waterslide we have now is at Ross Park. Though they took out the diving board from the pool.

i honestly think that just banning them would have worked better, i wouldnt have cared if they didnt show their imagery and have names like white devil, white pride world wide, anti faggot etc and have swastikas thrown everywhere, i KNOW these are offending some members and they have used abusive language on some of the members, i never wanted to argue i just wanted them to get banned, or at remove the offensive material, now its devolved into a mindless motivator war, its just getting ridiculous, i dont think the people defending them have any experience with these people, they hardly ever go to a site without a goal of spreading their hate, and if they dont they will still show their imagery and make their views known, i know it is hypocritical to say this when i would do the same with my beliefs, the thing is, these arent just "beliefs" if you check out www.stormfront.org, and especially the PLE areas, jsut if you want to post you will want to use a proxy as they track IP

And yes, I did use the styrofoam because it didn't stick as much, but it wasn't just plain styrofoam. It had some sort of non-stick thin plastic stuff on one side. There's a name for it, but I can't remember what it is.
