Can I do the 'do?

Been kicking the idea around for a few weeks.I really want to do a mohawk (or any similar kind of punkish style) and im not sure if I could pull it off because my current hair type,or my ugly ass face.Any advice or ideas?

Gigs Mcgee on here had similar curly hair and she managed to rock the hawk after thinking about some of the same things you are thinking about.  Looking at her pictures she also did some other "punkish" styles before going full hawk as well.
