Charged hair?

Anyone know how to do this? I have a 6/7" Mohican at the moment and I was think, when it gets longer than I'd like, I'll just grow the sides out and have charged hair, like Mike Virus here, but I don't know how you put it up.

Anyone know?

Although Steve hasn't replied in a long while, he did have a similar quest for hair like this and achieved it too.

Have a look through his photos and discussions for his tips on how he did it.
