how long should I wait to put up my Hawk after dying hair?

My good friend says 2 days- then you can use hairspray to spike it. Does hairspray strip the color faster if I wanted to spike it the day after? I'm confused..

i couldnt see how it matters in any way.. the only thats going to strip the color is when you wash it out. id say put it up whenever you want!
