Modeling Punks?

What do you think about all those punk models? Do you think were getting swept up with the rest of society and starting to judge eachother on our own looks? Im jst wondering Cus a few bands are totally against it and others think is great we can show ourselves off.

One day while on a repair job on the Upper East Side of Manhattan (the rich part), I met the CEO of UGLYNY. He wanted me to stop by his office to be in their model catalog. He said that my mohawk was majestic and was looking for some true punks in nyc. HIs company started in London, and he was showing me all the punks in London that do what he was asking of me. So I let him take a couple pics, but nothing has come up from it, I wasn't expecting it, because that's not what I want. I'm not a punk to have my face plastered in magazines or ads, I'm a punk because it's my way of life. So, in conclusion, I'm not a model, I could be, but I'd rather be sitting with a beer in one hand and a cigarette in the other with some of my friends than be posing in front of a camera.

None of those models really strike me as punk. They look more like fashion goths or club kids or something.

honestly, i think it can be a good thing. i agree with amanda; the farther we get in society without losing our ideals, the better.

plus i used to be a model. when i was a lot younger though. but i'm getting back into it. actually, i'm a model in a fasion show this may (it's for a fasion course at a school) and im pretty excited about that. actually, i'm going to have my mohawk for then! ^___^ (i'm getting it this week lol) and for the show, my designer wants me to dye it black, and then she's gunna put synthetic dreads in for me, in a combination of red white and black. ooh i'm excited. just thought i'd share that lol :P
