Looks like I might be seeing Leftover crack along with a few other bands. Not down here though, but up in NJ, since i;ll be there in Dec. they'll be at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park. very excited :D

The Misfits aren't to bad live, but its no where NEAR what it used to be, and I just wished I could have seen them back in the glory days. My girlfriend and I saw them a couple years in a row hopping it would be better every time, but it wasn't. Don't think we'll be going to another show of theirs unless they are touring with some great bands.

Tampa isn't to bad, and a lot of bands make a stop through here. The drives are usually between 30-45 min for most shows I go to, and then its about an hour to an hour and a half to get to Orlando. The Tampa/St. Pete area has a great Ska Scene, too. If ya post when you move, I'll start putting up a concert schedule for the Tampa area. I don't think it would do anyone on here any good right now, tho, as no one seems to come on...

yeah that's true. its pretty much the same reason why i wont see the misfits live.
but i srsly doubt i would be able to see them anyways. ya i really wanna see LCB and the adolescents though. I think DRI has already passed. yeah i checked the show was oct 17th. i just hate that alot of good shows are so far north. then again everything is so far north for me. i cannot wait to move to tampa.

Yeah, there's a lot of shows that require a lot of driving and it's kinda hard to get out to all of them, especially when moneys tight. Honestly, I don't know if I would go see DK. Its just not the same without Jello, and I think I would be disappointed to see one of my favorite bands without one of my heroes. And with all the shit that went down, I've lost a lot of respect for East Bay Ray and the rest of the band. It would be nice to see the Adolescents and LCB, tho. Also, I think a heard something about DRI, but that may have already happened.

haha awesome, i wanted to see Koffin kats again, but they were way up in Ft lauderdale this time. and no one could come with me. i might go see Dead Kennedys when they come to Ft lauderdale in jan, well atleast try, because i;m not sure if i'm gonna be here in FL or in NJ with my dad around that time. then Adolescents and Lower Class Brats are gonna be coming to west palm, am gonna try and get a ride up there.

Lets see... There was the GWAR/Casualties show two Fridays ago, then Ska Homecoming that Saturday, then a Koffin Kats show last Sunday (I couldn't attend, but my girlfriend said it was awesome!), then the Toasters/Pietasters show Thursday. I might be forgetting one or two......

How about concerts coming up, too? I've got a massive calender, but I wont post all of em. The show I'm most looking forward to is Social D on November 12! Cannot fucking WAIT!! Its going to be awesome, and I already have my tix! :D

HOORAY! And just as I was thinking about starting a "Florida Punks" Group of my own! .>> ;)

Danielle: I was thinking about going AIT, but decided I would rather try and get an education in some kind of music instead of graphic design. I've had a few speakers from the school and researched a bunch of stuff about it, and it seems like a nice place. I know a few people that attend, aswell. Hope all goes well on that front!
