I <3 aquanet.

If I'm worried about being water proof, I throw a thin layer of knox into my hair after I finish it.

aqua net and got2be glued freeze spray r my faves to far my fan is about 8'' and people i know have much toller ones and use the same thing it should work well the main prob for most people is not blow drying long enough

i just hold it up with a comb in sections, hairspray at the roots and abit higher with Tressemme freeze hold hairspray (works wonders, shame it isnt water proof) hairdry the fuck out of it, spray the tips and slid your hands up it and hold and hairdry some more, and so on and so forth and ta-da
you have an erect mohican.
jolly good stuff ole chap.

My hawk is about 7", i've used Knox and it flaked SO bad. Usually i just use got 2 be glue and freeze spray, and blow dry the hell out of it.
i tried Ice spiker glue too and it worked well its just hella expensive.

hey, i tried to backcomb it but it kind of flopped over... i was out of hairspray but i used gel and mousee and a blow dryer, which made sort of a sticky mess out of my hair... any suggestions of how to get it to stay? my hairs probably about 14 inches when i pull it up straight. ..

So, i like to use got 2 b glue, but i noticed it gets all clumpy and i can't comb thru. besides hair spray, is there another product that i can use that i can comb through and wont clump as much? I hate using hairspray alone...takes fer ages.

how to backcomb: turn your head upsidedown so the top is pointing down. it shud b fluffy from straightening. grab a chunk and pull it so it wud b like wen its spiked. then about an inch from the roots, comb it back down while holding it in place. then move to the next bit bout 3 inches from roots and comb back to were you started. once you get the hang of it itll onli take like 10 mins to spike up a 6 inche mowie.... my mate spikes up his footlong spikes like dis and he can get em standing wivout even spraying!!! if you backcomb it proper itll look like a mowie wiv no hairspray but itll be all fluffy so then spray it and pull the mowie up wiv de palms of your hands just like you were spikin it up wiv gel or somtin... i can do mine wiv no hairdryer!!!! easy as fuck.... itll stay standin for days too just touch it up every mornin... to get it out u just need to comb it out.... if you try and wash it out after backcombing it wont work!!!!

ok look it doesnt depend on the hairspray, any will do, what you need to do is straighten it first.. this removes any grease/dirt.. then what ya need to do is backcomb it. once you get the hang of backcombing it will stand up without and hairspray whatsoever....
