Global Warming

actually, its been scientifically proven that humans aren't causing global warming. The problem lies with if we can cause a "global spike" as it were.

The deterioration of the ozone happens due to an increase of the greenhouse gasses and it has a 3000 year delay (it may not be exactly that but it is close) Therefore, the cause of this deterioration happened 3000(or so) years ago, way before we had factories and cars.

The "global spike" can cause by a quick release of methane (which is trapped in our polar caps) but also is released in cars, so its not how much we're releasing, but simply a matter of when it will trigger due to the release of ANY excess methane. We're essentially sitting on a nuclear warhead with the power switch in our hands and we cant see the timer, so the best option is to turn it off all together.

The problem with that is that most of our technology relies on processes that release methane into the atmosphere.

THAT is the real issue...Al Gore is as bad as Micheal Moore, he has a good message but feels the need to lie about the real problems to try and drum up support.
