Moms Ruin Mohawk Plan - Opponents Steal Idea and Championship

Within hours after reading that the moms of the Phoenix North boys' tennis team quashed the team's plan to wear mohawk hairstyles - their opponents - fifth-seeded Ironwood Ridge showed up with mohawks for Tuesday's match.

With the new look, Ironwood Ridge won five of six singles flights, with North getting its only victory in the first flight from freshman standout Vlad Mihai over Tim Holten 6-0, 6-2. Ironwood Ridge won Flights 2 through 6 behind Dillon Kennedy, Andrew Vo, Dillon Vo, Josh Taylor and George Long.

Now that is retribution!!
