well bleach your hair first, any bleach will do really.

As for die I've had really good results with Special Effects iguana green, I like punky colors a lot as well, and RAW is decent :D

I'm a huge fan of Directions hair colors. But yea, like Deadkid said, just bleach your hair and any color shouldn't be much of a problem anymore.

for amazing green use punky colors- spring green
for amazing blue use punky colors- turquise
my favorite pink is beyond the zone- candy apple red (the red doesnt last long at all before it turns pink)
my favorite purple (Which is neon pink/purple in the sun) is punky colors- rubine
a good red/orange is punky colors- flame
thats all i can think of right now haha..
powder bleach is the way to go in my opinion.. mix it with 20-40 volume developer and your all set

The first time I dyed my hair with special effects blue velvet it worked really well, the second time didnt stick as well, but i didn't bleach either time, the last time I dyed it with that blue was december and its not out, many washes and one bleaching later, although it is green now, and i am going green next.
