My first show
Let me get started my problem is that my mom is that I don't know what to expect. I want to pogo dance and crown surf the whole 10 yards even moshing. But how bad do you get hurt in those damn things they seem like fun. But I want to know what to tell my mom do I tell her I'll be okay or Do I tell her to go get me some band-aids? Thanks for the replies.

people help you up if you fall down. you should expect some bruises maybe, but nothing worse.

(of course it depends on how big the gig is) worst thing i got on a gig was a bruise shaped like norway on my butt.

Thanks guys I was planning on getting fucked up. I was looking forward to some bruises and blood. My mother hates the fact that I do and that I'm punk. She'll just have to get over it or dis-own me. Thanks again guys

How old are you?
If it's a punk gig it's nothing too bad. If someone falls down you help them up, if someone's being a dick they generally get hurt more, as people will target them (what classifies "being a dick" depends on the band and the crowd).
I like to take shorts (cooler and give you more movement) with button/zip pockets, to make sure you don't lose anything (although I've never lost anything from jeans at gigs either).

Its never gonna be bad, you get some assholes that will kick you while your down...
the fact is you dont know anyone there, but they always help you up, obv there are alot of people there that are generally stronger, they always target the ones that target people, that target the people that fall down.
Pits are fun, and Fair play if you get to the middle!
