What's your favorite occasion for wearing your 'hawk up?

So far I've only worn mine up to crash a wedding.

When do you like to show your 'hawk pride and spike up til your arms are fallin off?

i love wearing my hair up when i dress extra girly. i have tons of little sun dresses i wear anytime it's nice out and right now my hair is a green and pink animal print, shaved short all over. i love that i can still look so feminine and rock such a crazy hair style.

XD love that! I never find sundresses that I like. Probably cuz I grew up as a chunky 12 year old wearing mu-mu dresses that my mom bought for me. I love being around my family and wearing it up. They're always fascinated. My 78 year old aunt/godmother is so amused with my hair.

Yeah I'm a little lazy so it hardly goes up in the winter and maybe a few times in the spring, summer, and fall. Maybe for a concert of for a day of hanging out.

Thats awesome. I don't think my hair would dread unless I fried the hell outta it. Currently I have virgin hair. Which sucks for styling :/ But you should do it! And if you do the false dread extensions you can take them out without shaving bald.

I have Dreads in the back of mine! i didn't know it was common. Well, actually my whole head was braided far over a year ago- i left the braids cause i waited way too long to take out the ones in the back- they'd take me 20 min. each minimum to get out- then like well, an hour i'd say... so- i took out most and left just a few in the back that are long colorful braids...like...6 i think- hmm.. yup blue , black, 2 pink, 2 blonde

always! i put mine up, especially if there is a concert, but it stays up for about a week at a time. i love the way it makes my shadow look.

Work and concerts/gigs. When I first got it I wanted it up all the time. I've had it for 2 years now and I don't put it up as much. I like it up and down.
Everyone at work loves it when I have it up. I'm so glad I am blessed to work at a place (state office even!) that is cool with my style.
