What's the best way to grow out my mohawk?

Winter is coming and I know i'm never going to wear it up anymore. I havent worn it up for about a month now and the sides are growing in, but it looks ridiculous. I dont know how I should go about growing it out. Any ideas?

so your looking to grow it back out to one length? you can either let it keep going and then cut it to one length once it gets to a length your okay with it or buzz it and let it start over..

When I cut mine off I just rocked a chelsea for while. Bald with bangs, then a bit of a fuzzball for a few months. I'm glad I did because my hair grew back much healthier.

If thats not what you are looking for then maybe try to let the side grow out while cutting the mohawk portion shorter gradually? It might also give you some time to let the winter pass, and if you want to bring it back you can more easily.
