Not a Mohawk but similar, would this work?

That, I want to do something similar, but I want to make my hair more spiked up then that and the rest about 1/4 the size of the main part messy, would this work? I have had a mohawk before and that worked well on me, Just curious if this would work right....

Think this would be hard to achieve?

Mouse, a blow dryer, and a tousled piecey hair cut should do the trick.

1/4 the length of the main messy part? you mean the part on top thats red?

Nah Like I am gonna dye the tall part a color which is about 4 inches high and the rest I was gonna leave messy kinda about 1 inch non dyed. Its all gonna be sorta messy, kinda like that picture but longer and more messy spiked up.
