Mohawks Rock

I've been in a church bowling league for years. Good mixed leaugue, male and female, ages 18 to mid 70s. We bowl every other week.
I've been wearing my 'hawk 'up' this year for bowling. It seems to have enhanced my performance. I've jumped from a historical 150 average to a 170 average this year.
I haven't bowled like this since I bowled competitively in high school and college....
Could it be the 'hawk?
BTW, my team is currently in second place out of ten teams.

well, I used to run track and field in highschool, particularly hurdles. my coach threw a bitch fit over my hair and said I couldnt race with it up .But one meet I was too lazy to take it down after I'd had it up all day so I ran with it anyways, got my personal record in both races that day.
Aha. More evidence for my theory.... :).
when i do pk with my hawk up sometimes i go better but other times i dont lol i usually wear it down to train
Haha, you should totally cut a slit on your helmet for your hawk to come out the top.
that sounds wrong
i ride bmx better when my mohawk is up. maybe the aerodynamics but i doubt it.
i throw javelin and disc for hs. i got my first mohawk when i qualified for districts. I pr-ed at districts though it probably had more to do with the competition i faced. its interesting running xc with my hawk up, when I raced well my hawk is intact because I was relaxed through the race but sometimes it falls if i bounce around too much, a result of straining and bad form.
"mohawks make you good at things" new motto
