Mohawks Rock

November 20th is the day that us in the trans community set aside to honour our dead. Given the 1-in-3 suicide rate, the 1-in-30 murder rate and an average life expectancy of just 24, you could say we've got a lot of dead to remember.

Tonight, in accordance with tradition, I will be holding a minute's silence by candlelight as soon as the sun has gone down. Who here will also be holding a candlelit silence tonight?
