Do people not take you seriously?

I feel like people don't take mohawks seriously anymore. I mean whenever i go out people just shout nice hawk and crap and sometimes just call me a faggot and piss me off. But i hate how people r so used to mohawks and don't get bothered by it...

What you guys think? People just don't take punk seriously anymore...

more then anything i think i hate it when people either treat me like i'm 16 (not that there's anything wrong with being 16 just i'm 28) or when they think i must be stupid because i have piercings and a hawk. It doesn't happen alot any more but i still run into it and mostly by older people. just because i'm different doesn't mean i have a lower i.q. i just don't want to be like every other person out there.
