Need help with a virgin hair mohawk!!!

my boyfriend just cut his hair to a mohawk, but the only problem is that his hair isnt died or damaged I guess you can say, at all. I know that damaged hair works easilier than virgin hair, but we arent going to bleach his hair or anything, we just want to style it. Can anyone please give me some advice as to how this can be done, we tried beeswax, hairglue and hairspray at the salon but the woman didnt really know how to style it.his hair wouldnt stand up. I need tips, steps, products, any help at all will be very appreciated!

I would reccomend a flat iron, thats how I got mine to stay up at first STEP 1: Straighten the hair with a flat iron, STEP 2: Apply gel and shape your hawk , Step 3: If needed run a comb through it to get the fan look (sometimes it looks good on its own), Step 4: Apply hairspray I would recommend Got2b Glued for the gel and spray

Oh b4 I forget when using the hairspray make sure not 2 use to much as this will make it fall, apply all over mohawk and blowdry the spray and if that dont work then WOW!!! lol
