help with making a stencil

ok so im attempting to make a stencil from scratch for my band and i am stuck

i drew out the logo and shit but i have no idea ware to put the breaks.
if someone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated :)

p.s. i know its just in pencil and the lines need to be thicker when i was done i was gonna go over it in a thick marker and cut it out like that (thats how i made one with just my bands name)

i know this is a really old thread but i didn't know if you might still need help... here is a tutorial i wrote a few years back, all you need is MS paint, though i don't know how it would work on the newer versions of MS paint.

and something i forgot in the intial tutorial, when i said be sure to make bridges to the islands i didn't say what either were:
island: a floating chunk of color
bridge: small line of non-color to hold island in its place, like you would see for the triangle on a stenciled "A"

also if you print your stencil out on paper and want to use it multiple times i would recommend using a heavier paper or covering it with contact paper, or both. if you want to make a one time use stencil contact paper is also good because it doesn't let any spray or paint underneath. cut out using a razor blade or X-acto knife.
