Though I would drop you a line, since today I went ahead and shaved the sides of my head and now have a mohawk extending down the neck. But not as full as yours. Harder to grow hair in back. Yours look great. But my top looks good and the comments I get are interesting. Mostly positive, but some questioning why I did it.

You mentioned that you have an idea on how to make your hawk longer, but can't seem to describe what you want to the barber. Since I'm a writer, give it a shot with me, trying to explain how and where it might lengthen. Is there a photo on this website similar to what you thinking of trying? Just ideas.

By the way, I mentioned to a friend that is a supervisor at WalMart about getting a hawk and his reply was - Are you crazy?

Meanwhile, I still like buzz hawks and may yet wind up with one. But for now, having the taller mohawk is fun.

yeah the top has been a bit longer as well.. but i tend not to keep the hawk itself too long... i have an idea of how i want to have the hawk longer but i can never put it into words when i'm getting it done so i always end up w/ a buzz hawk! :)

I love your buzzed mohawk and the way you trimmed it the back. Not surpised it would be accepted at work.
Have you had it longer?
