1987

In Los Angeles, a couple of months before this image. I was in the transition of going into hardcore hawk. As you may notice, the side hair extensions remained for when I wanted to do the liberty spiked hawk. The 3 sided hair extensions on both sides of the scalp would be raised spikes to enhance the appearance of the main spiked mohawk. Make-up was random & not always. I would try to apply it like any tribal warrior paint as much as possible.
