Yeah they are i use bobby pins alot for when i keep my hawk up for days. When it gets a gap and im just chiling at home I use a bobby pin to close it and then i hairspray it and before i leave i take the bobby pin out and gap gone. :D there usefull

You just got your mohawk right? You eventually learn how your hair goes up the best and the gaps will go away by themselves :p
