The bright color dyes don't damage your hair because they have no harsh chemicals (like Splat, Manic Panic, and Directions). Bleach does do some damage. But usually after I bleach my hair I put conditioner on it and leave it for a few hours.

Hey Julie! Cool.....I use plain bleach on my natural brown too. Haven't done much with colors yet....is coloring really hard on your hair or not? Hear so much differing opinions on that don't know what to believe!
