Yeah, something like that, though with an expression showing on your face to go along with the it - just think on stomping your bosses. haha

They look pretty awesome even in the stock photo.  Man, how do you lace them even?  You could also do a high-res picture showing the Grinders' tread, lit by the camera flash as if you're about to stomp, looking down at the camera with an expression or something.  A bit more fun photo too. haha

Yes these have the starry/coggy tread too. I love my Grinders, they are all made in the UK and are really top quality. They remind me of DMs before they went all trendy. I still like DMs but Grinders are sweet too! I'll load a picture of mine up but here is a link to them on their site: http://www.grinders.co.uk/store/King.html
I paid £70 from a big company over ebay not the advertised £111.

The marker gave a good effect from what I can see here.  Sounds like you got some nice taste in boots and trainers. :D  I like high tops too, though only got a pair of Reebok Classic lows atm (with glow-in-the-dark paint).

Gotta say, always wanted a pair of Grinders, mainly 'cause of the cog treads are cool.  20 hole tall?!  Wow, never seen someone wearing something like those, can imagine those taking a while to lace.  Cool though.  But then again, I is in the wilds of the countryside up in Scotland. :)  And folk just don't have much special to show.

Oh yeah these are my main boots. I only have one pair of 10 hole DMs, one pair of Grinders (20 Hole Kings) and one pair of British Army combat boots (the toxic ones). The grinders take time to get on and off so are for long nights out. The DMs and CBs are dailies (if I'm not rocking some Reebok Pump High Tops!)

These boots were originally just brown. I simply coloured the toes and heel-spines in with a black permanent marker. (Normally I'd use acrylic paint).

Are they not?  Oh, I always thought the stitched-toe versions were steel toed, I had vaguely wondered how you'd pierced the studs through...that explains it.  Yeah, I like that stitching around the toe-cap on this style too.  Makes them look more menacing. :D

Add in those spikes and even more menacing on!  haha  (Plus, they have a kinda schweet red & grey colour-scheme with darker toe-caps that I've not seen before.)  Ah, I'm just one for liking all the details. :)  Good to hear you still have these.

That's more of the model they are I think, I'll check them for you when I'm not at work. (as I currently am.)
I know that this is not a "Originals" pair (UK made). They are made in some East Asian country. I specifically like this style that have toe cap stitching, however they are not steel toed. This allows you to screw the spikes in still.

Only thing it tells me is how big your boots are compared to me and how many steps it takes for you to walk over a distance.  Nothing earth shattering.

Thanks, 'cause they have a good shape - not too elongated or narrow.  And I thought why not ask?
