Stop the presses!

So, I originally thought that orientation was today, the 6th!

IT'S NOT! It's on the 9th! I know, that's not a whole lot of difference in time, but still!

So I went ahead and got a wig (It's awful--and for $12, I'm surprised I got that much!) to use for orientation, but I'm still holding out for a miracle. There's a much nicer one for $40, but my issue was originally time. Now that I know I have SOME time, I'll go ahead and order it--I'll have it in time for ride operations training; I'll just say that I forgot to cut my hair for general orientation.

I'm wondering though...for work, I always wear a Heinz hat (part of the corporate alliance deal)...like, ALWAYS. Maybe...I could just so happen to wear my hat frequently, where frequently=every day and second I'm in the park. The ONLY problem I see with this is my initial ID--that one's taken with no beard, no hats, normal...I'd need the wig for that one...hmm...

So maybe I can do this: Order the nice wig. Attend orientation, do something stupid like forget to shave so that nullifies possibility of ID (while wearing hat). Get nice wig. Take ID photo [with no one noticing rapid growth of hair]. Work with hat+tucked hawk until corporate finds out!




...somehow I see this all ending with my file getting marked down "REHIRE STATUS? Y / {N}" sometime soon :P


In a perfect world, though, everything will go perfectly according to plan!...so long as I never have to take my hat off!
