Mohawks Rock

Due to several times when i was out and about all by my self i have come to notice how people tend to act in the presence of something that is not the social norm. Having been raised in a somewhat religious retirement town everyone seems to shy away and/or make random comments about the way ones physical appearance is. Truth be told.....when i was younger i might have done the same or stared at someone. That was when i was little though and mostly still curious. I expect something like that from kids but when its the adults who do that........i wonder about the future of our world. When i was at walmart a child was walking with his mother in my general direction and he made a remark about the color of my hair and the way it was cut. I smiled and remembered what it was like to be curious and young. That was when the mother pulled her child close and took an un-usually wide path around me. What i find funny is how the people who express themselves through odd haircuts and unconventional clothing are a lot more accepting of eachother and everyone else. Try it sometime....Hold a door open for an elderly couple or help someone out in another way. Watch the expressions on their faces. The punks/goths/emo kids are more accepting of anyone and everyone. However the straight laced business men and women will point the finger more often than not.
